SV	En Gaal, de zoon van Ebed, ging uit, en stond aan de deur van de stadspoort; en Abimelech rees op, en al het volk, dat met hem was, uit de achterlage.
WLC	וַיֵּצֵא֙ גַּ֣עַל בֶּן־עֶ֔בֶד וַיַּעֲמֹ֕ד פֶּ֖תַח שַׁ֣עַר הָעִ֑יר וַיָּ֧קָם אֲבִימֶ֛לֶךְ וְהָעָ֥ם אֲשֶׁר־אִתֹּ֖ו מִן־הַמַּאְרָֽב׃
Trans.	wayyēṣē’ g^a‘al ben-‘eḇeḏ wayy^a‘ămōḏ peṯ^aḥ š^a‘ar hā‘îr wayyāqām ’ăḇîmeleḵə wəhā‘ām ’ăšer-’itwō min-hamma’ərāḇ:

AC	לה ויצא געל בן עבד ויעמד פתח שער העיר ויקם אבימלך והעם אשר אתו מן המארב
ASV	And Gaal the son of Ebed went out, and stood in the entrance of the gate of the city: and Abimelech rose up, and the people that were with him, from the ambushment.
BE	And Gaal, the son of Ebed, went out, and took his place at the doorway into the town; then Abimelech and his people got up from the place where they had been waiting.
